Targeting the Problem: Troy University's Learning Center
When you were
in high school, did you ever receive tutoring? Does the fear of struggling with a certain
subject embarrass you? Well, college is no different. Often times our best, and
worst subjects follow us to college. Troy University offers the Learning Center
as a solution to the problem. Here, Abigail Leonard, the General Assistant of
the Learning Center, will answer a few questions about what the Learning Center
is and how students can benefit from all it has to offer.
Question 1: What is the Learning Center?

coaching for Troy University enrolled students. We provide trained peer tutors
who work with students to develop academic skills in writing, mathematics,
physics, chemistry, biology, and general studies science classes."

decide to work in the Learning Center?

the GA and loved the atmosphere in the Learning Center.
Question 3: What makes the Learning Center a great
resource to students?

are all great and everyone is always willing to help. The director, Patricia

they need to succeed. The Learning Center is a great place to work!

struggling with the same subjects they are. Don’t let the fear of being the
only person struggling stop you from getting help. Visit the Learning Center!
