Trojan Outreach: The Battle Buddy Every Trojan Needs

We’ve talked quite a bit about student resources on campus and we will continue that trend this week with our discussion of Trojan Outreach!

Trojan Outreach is a student led and student oriented group that aims to influence the minds, hearts, and bodies of the students on campus. Per the troy.edu website, their mission statement is “Trojan Outreach is a peer-led education organization within Troy University's Student Services division. These students are committed to promoting and influencing a culture that is focused on health, wellness and safety by empowering and engaging the campus community to make healthy decisions.”

This organization is comprised of student leaders and peer leaders, who work to mentor students and spread information about social topics like health and wellness, positive body image, drugs, alcohol, and even adjusting to college.

In this two minute interview, I spoke with Jace and Tori of Trojan Outreach. Here, we will address what Trojan Outreach is and how it has affected Jace and Tori’s personal experiences as a Trojan.
