Trojan Open House
Remember in elementary school
when your teacher would announce open house? You got to see all your classmates
after school with their parents and everybody was finally beginning to settle
into the new school year. Troy University aims to give you nostalgic feels
while still giving you the opportunity to gain some information about the
university
Troy’s Worldwide Open House will
be held April 23rd from 8
a.m. to 11:30 p.m.. Despite having to move this event online, Troy
still wants to take the time to fellowship with those who want to attend. The
goal of this open house is to assist prospective students with admissions
questions and areas of career development.
Registration for this event is open
now. Those that have previously registered have been given the instructions on
how to access the open house virtually. There are two separate applications
based off the type of student you are. One application is for those U.S.
students and a separate application has been complied to accommodate international
students. This online event is also open to both graduate and undergraduate
students. You will need your troy password and login to register.
Troy University truly cares about
their community. During these times of social distancing and quarantine, Troy
University wants its potential students, students, faculty, and staff to still
be able to access the resources that the university has to offer.
I think it is important to
remember times like these, and how people respond. We often times can become
victim of our circumstances when we are not in control. However, when the
inevitable occurs, how we respond is important. I love Troy University, and I believe
that as Trojans we can redefine what it means to be a college graduate.
When I leave Troy University, I know
that I will leave a better person. I’ll leave knowing that I come from a family
of intellectuals who care for not just themselves, but one another. That information
you can only learn from experiencing the Trojan way.
I hope this information helps you
stay informed. Here are a few websites that are accessible to you, regardless
of being a current student or a prospective student. Don’t let this free time
go by without really thinking about the future, even if it is looking a little
uncertain.
