Trojan Eats, How Do I Access Food on Campus?
All students that attend Troy University are required to have a meal plan. Whether you live on campus or off campus, you have a few options.
Before we discuss meal plans there are a few things you need to know!
• Flex Points are preloaded dollars that can be used in any franchise restaurant on campus and Saga.
• 1 flex point =1 dollar
• When you use flex points you DO NOT pay tax.
• Swipes are used for the dining hall ONLY
• Each meal plan had different rules, so please choose what’s best for you!
Residents Plans ($1600)
• Cart Blanche + 25 Flex Dollars (unlimited swipes in Saga )
• 14 Meals + 350 Flex Dollars (14 meal swipes a week, any meals)
o These meals are USE OR LOSE! So if you do not use the 14 allotted meals per week they will not roll over
• 9 Meals + 500 Flex Dollars (9 meal swipes, any meals)
o These meals are also USE OR LOSE!
• 75 Block + 650 Flex Dollars (75 meals over the course of the semester)
o These meals are USE or LOSE!
Commuter Plans
• 275 Flex Dollars ($275)
o This plan is the default plan for all commuters
o You must request to change your meal plan.
• Commuters Plus Plan; 28 meals per semester+ 350 Flex Dollars ($600)

How do I select my meal plan?
You will choose your meal plan when you submit your application for housing.
If you are a commuter you will have until the last day to drop or add a class to change your meal plan.
Can I change my meal plan based off my schedule?
YES! You typically have until the drop and add date for that semester to change your meal plan.
How can I change my meal plan?
In order to change your meal plan you will need to visit Student Financial Services located in Adams Administration Building.

*75 block plan is the only plan where you can use more than one swipe at a time.
*Look at your food options before the first day and compare them to your schedule
*Talk to other students!
